Highly corosive components in household residual waste are an additional threat to wearables. Substances with a low PH value in mining and industry are disastrous for the life span. HARDOX HiACE does not make life difficult!
In almost all cases, even the hardest steels cannot withstand the action of acid in a corosive environment. Reason enough to expand the HARDOX family with a new, more acid-resistant scion: HARDOX HiACE.
This is an extension of the proven HARDOX 450 range. Structurally, the steel remained unchanged, only its acid resistance has become exceptional. As the PH value decreases, the service life increases relative to HARDOX 450 itself. Under extreme conditions, the service life itself can triple.
An additional advantage is that HiACE also performs superiorly at very low temperatures (-20° C)
HARDOX HiACE is ideally suited for waste treatment and recycling. In addition to its acid-resistant property, it is also resistant to the action of sulphates and chlorides, making it excellent for use in mining and industry.
The high demand for HiACE means that stock at Geha Laverman is now limited.
By the end of this year, it will be readily available in all thicknesses from 7 to 25.4 mm.
