Välkommen till Hardox

HARDOX is found everywhere at Geha Laverman. Thousands of tonnes in stock, on every machine
you see it lying around, robots are at it daily and everywhere you hear the same name falling: HARDOX. Why is it so special, where does it come from and above all... how is it made? Geha Laverman flew to Sweden over the Ascension weekend with almost the entire staff and not only got rock-hard answers to all those pressing questions but also had herself gastronomically spoiled.

The Home of HARDOX - the factory in Oxelösund   proves to be an unforgettable attraction for anyone with an affinity for this illustrious steel. You really experience the imposing blast furnaces, ladles and advanced rolling mill with all your senses. A spectacle that gave almost everyone hardox-redheads - or was it the heat? At the end of the factory visit, there was a presentation, during which the various developments within the expanding HARDOX product range were discussed in more detail for the real enthusiasts.

Time for a cooldown: we leave the red 'heavy metal' for it and seek out Swedish nature by bus, green and at least as overwhelming as producing wear steel. All of Geha Laverman enjoys the 'Länders kök', Swedish hospitality, a boat trip along the islands and a visit to an illustrious castle. The next day - even more Swedish adventure - a cool sailing trip around Stockholm, an extremely laid-back city, as experienced by all. While no one was caught with a piece of HARDOX as a souvenir for home - after all, there is plenty in Zaandam - the visit to 'Home of HARDOX' left a deep impression on many and we look back on a particularly successful weekend. However, one important question remained unanswered: 'When are we going again?'
