For the first time in its long history, gates will open wide at Geha Laverman on Friday 10 and Saturday 11 June. Everyone is welcome to go and see it all for themselves. For example, how we cut through thick HARDOX plate as if it were a packet of butter. And there is so much more to do....
We hereby invite all our customers and interested parties to come and take a closer look at it all. How do we design and make our wear products? What goes on in our world of heavy metal? A fascinating world that many of our relations have never seen, let alone experienced. Meet the people who make it for you.
There will be continuous demonstrations in our production halls where you can see the techniques we use to process wear-resistant HARDOX material into finished products. Naturally, all our partners Magotteaux, SSAB, Ludwig Krieger, HEKO, Combi and Prall-Tec, will present their delivery programme in detail and tell the fascinating story behind their products.
For example, you can learn about Prall-tec's latest mobile crusher. Combi Wearparts will come and demonstrate the revolutionary C-REX tine system - a first for the Benelux. This particularly innovative tooth system was shown to the international public for the first time at BAUMA 2016 in Munich.
But it is not only heavy metal that rings the bell during the Open Days. Naturally, there is plenty of time to enjoy snacks and drinks on the cosy terraces. There is something for everyone to enjoy, for example, during the Open Days a BMX stunt team will demonstrate in a dazzling show that you can handle HARDOX plate material seemingly weightlessly. All visitors will even get the chance to participate.
A particularly talented cartoonist will be happy to create an amusing portrait of you.
And children who have nothing to do with metal can bounce around on the bouncy castle.A visit to the Open Days is more than worthwhile.
